Job Duties: -
- Developing and retaining a robust recruiting team capable of converting high volume activity into hires that satisfy growth goals set forth by company leadership
- Providing structured training and consistent coaching to build upon team's customer service/selling skillset
- Ensuring the team is accurately communicating our driver opportunities to prospective candidates and determining the qualification of applicants against our onboarding criteria
- Monitoring numerous reports including call volume, daily recruiter activity, and pipeline reports to identify potential bottlenecks that may slow down individual and team productivity
- Implementing communication and reporting strategies to enhance metric visibility
- Provides mentorship to Recruiters across the network
- Develops "out of the box initiatives" for the Field Recruiting team and documents processes
- Develops start-up recruitment strategy for local campus
- Acts as a back-up support recruiter for other field team members
- Acts as the "Brand Ambassador" for the local campus leadership and enforces recruitment changes on the campus
- Participates in the development of Leadership Training programs on the campus
- Owns full cycle recruiting for high volume field distribution center operations roles
- Identifies potential candidates through various forms of recruitment, such as resume review, local career fairs, networking, candidate sourcing
- Screens resumes and conducts phone screens with potential candidates
- Ensure external and internal candidates complete full application for consideration
- Communicates with local HR, Talent, and hiring manager through the search process
- Organizes interviews and interview events such as job fairs to meet high volume staffing needs and pipeline for future roles
- Maintains a tracking system and other staffing reporting to ensure business needs are being met
- Plans weekly recruiting meetings with operations leadership, Talent, and/or local HR
- Strategizes, coordinates and follows up on all recruitment activities for new business
- Manages the scheduling of candidate interviews, follow up and the timely completion of pre-employment paperwork
- Partners with Talent and HR to create and maintain a culture of continuous recruiting to support high volume hiring in a fast growing environment
- Conducts training sessions with operations leadership on interview techniques and candidate selection
- Performs recruitment advertising on public and university job boards
- Represents the Company at job fairs and on-campus recruiting sessions
- Administers personality assessments, background checks, and drug screens
- Negotiates starting salaries and administers offer packets
- Maintains the internal job board
- Partners with external recruiting agencies as necessary
- Supports the conversion of temporary employees to full time employees to ensure the business needs are met
- Travels up to 25-50%

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from 4 year college or university
- 5+ years verifiable high-volume recruiting experience with strengths in project management and business development.
- Proven candidate sourcing and relationship building skills
- Capable of working in a demanding, deadline-driven environment with a focus on delivering projected results
- Effective interpersonal and presentation skills. Ability to speak confidently about the company's business model and strategic vision
- High degree of initiative and independent execution
- General knowledge of Department of Transportation laws and regulations
- Familiarity with TenStreet applicant tracking system is preferred
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel programs is required
- Experience in high volume recruiting; preferably in logistics, transportation, international business and/or warehousing
- Experience in regional recruiting for both exempt and non-exempt positions
- Experience in sourcing and networking to identify candidates
- Experience with an Applicant Tracking System (Virtual Edge preferred)
- Knowledge of behavioral interviewing and coaching
- PC literate with experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Access and Excel
- Excellent written and oral communication skills that demonstrate a proven ability to develop relationships with a range of internal and external customers
- Excellent planning and organizational skills
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manual
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently is required to sit, reach with hands and arms, and talk. The employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds. The employee is regularly exposed to ambient lighting and temperate climate conditions.
