CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking a Process Engineering Business Practice Leader to join our growing Advanced Manufacturing business line in our Albany, NY, Boston, MA or Richmond, VA office.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Process Engineering Business Practice Leader will have the unique opportunity of establishing and growing this new business practice for CHA - with the ultimate objective of being a recognized industry leader! This key leadership role will have complete oversight and responsibility for staffing up the technical and project management teams, technical excellence, quality assurance, and operational activities within the Processing Engineering Business Practice. To demonstrate effectiveness in this new role, the Business Practice Leader will collaborate with other business practices throughout CHA to ensure the efficient execution of projects, staff utilization and talent management.

EDUCATION AND LICENSURE
    Bachelor's Degree required
  • Professional Engineer (PE) licensure required
SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive professional experience required, experience with chemical or process engineering preferred
  • Strategic thinker to properly position the group for strong growth and financial performance
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of the pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, semiconductor and other high-tech manufacturing businesses his/her Business Practice as well as the adaptability for future service offerings
  • Demonstrated financial management skills and understanding of P&L
  • An articulate and persuasive communicator, both one-on-one and in front of large groups
  • A high energy, results-oriented, resourceful leader who can establish himself/herself as a credible strategic member of management within the company
  • Technically astute and strategic in thinking to properly position the Business Practice for strong technical and financial performance and client satisfaction
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt communication style to suit various audience
  • Strong ability to resolve matters timely and lead initiatives/projects to completion with a sense of urgency
  • Ability to inspire, motivate, build and manage relationships across the company, and influence decisions from the top down and bottom up
  • Trustworthy with the ability to handle confidential matters and sensitive information or situations with discretion
