Introduction - Organizational Details:
Barilla America, Inc. wants to recruit a Supply Chain Data Analyst - within Supply Chain in Northbrook, IL. The individual will report to the Production & Distribution Planning Sr. Manager.

Job Purpose: The Supply Chain Data Analyst will problem solve and begin to predict for improved efficiencies in the data integrity throughout Supply Chain interfaces for Planning, Customer Orders, SAP, and Transportation (APO, SAP, EDI, E2Open) working in conjunction with IT and in alignment with global processes.


Key Accountabilities:

1. Confirm orders flow through without error from customers on a daily basis to ensure proper order-to-cash (OTC) data flows using internal customer (EDI) system.
2. Communicate with customers and partners in identifying EDI data issues and ensuring the cleaning of any bad records.
3. Ensure proper data flows for weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual planning cycles in APO tool and identify if trends occur for improvements.
4. Partner with IT on continuous improvement data projects to eliminate manual work, find efficiencies, and begin to use predictive models for data analysis.
5. Provide S.C. user support on Barilla America's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and interfaces. (technical super-user).
6. Support the implementation of upcoming software changes for Forecasting, Planning, and Order Book Management (e.g. SAP/APO, Manugistics, etc.).

7. Provide user support for other Supply Chain tools and systems.
8. Develop relationships with the category business teams and manage expectations through deep knowledge of business processes, strategies, and goals.
9. Maintain excellent working relationships and healthy partnerships with business partners and external vendors.
10. Proactively monitor interfaces between business systems and resolve any issues.
11. Facilitate periodic meetings with business partners for project updates and issue resolution.
12. Proactively identify, escalate, and help resolve issues as they arise.
13. Document Business Processes and SOP.
14. Assist in developing process improvements that can be translated by IT to be put into system improvements.
15. Work with the Business Units to define initiatives and guidelines for business process innovation as a fundamental step towards business change.

Education/Work Experience:

* Bachelor's degree (Supply Chain Management, BBA in Business Analytics or BBA in logistics and supply chain management) or specialized training
* Minimum 3 years of experience supporting Supply Chain data analysis, data flows and systems
* 3 years of SAP (ERP) support experience, APO preferred
* Attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot data integrity issues on business processes
* Experience using APO, EDI (Gentran preferred), and SAP (at least 1, multiple a plus)
* E2Open or Transportation software experience preferred
* Strong communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills
* Ability to prioritize multiple tasks to ensure end-user satisfaction
* Ability to be able to identify end-to-end processes and understand the effect of errors and changes on the overall downstream processes
* Technical/functional experience a plus
* Super user experience in supply chain and ERP systems
* Experience working for a CPG or manufacturing company a plus.
* Ability to travel domestically and internationally if needed, less than 5% travel
