The Controls Project Engineer (internally referred to as the Central Controls Engineer) will provide dedicated support to all sites within the Siding Products Group throughout the implementation of Manufacturing 4.0 initiatives to accelerate integration and future advancement improvements to support business results. This position will provide technical leadership to production, engineering, and maintenance operations for 4.0-related projects. This may include the research, design, budgeting, scheduling, and management of capital projects as well as providing daily technical and troubleshooting support to the facility. This position will also provide leadership in identifying and executing scalable opportunities to standardize equipment and processes across sites. The Central Controls Engineer will work to develop the automation and controls staff within the group to further their knowledge within the field. As part of the Advanced Manufacturing team, the Central Controls Engineer will represent the voice of the automation and controls staff when developing future 4.0 strategies and projects.
