STV is seeking a Billing Operations Specialist for our San Antonio or Dallas, TX offices. This position will perform all aspects of the day-to-day project accounting functions on current projects for which they are responsible in accordance with the established accounting standards and billing policy. Duties include contract administration and support, as well as administrative and executive support functions to the Operations Team and Regional Manager. This position is designated as hybrid (3 days/week in the office).

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Performs all aspects of Project Billing Process from project setup and maintenance; review and adjustment of time and expense charges; billing; collections/AR reconciliation; and project closeout. Provides executive support to the Regional Operations Group as needed.

  • Ensures projects are set up and maintained in accordance with contractual terms and conditions
  • Prepares client invoices in accordance with company billing policy guidelines
  • Reviews and processes vendor and sub-consultant invoices
  • Reviews and monitors project cost/performance
  • Reconciles revenue monthly to ensure that revenues and billings are in alignment
  • Reviews Accounts Receivable to ensure timely payment of invoices
  • Reviews projects regularly for closeout
  • Works closely with Project Managers and provides Support Team to meet the overall financial and operational objectives of the region
  • Provides contract administration and related support

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associates Degree in Accounting or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Experience in finance or project accounting
  • Proactive in solving problems
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Detail-oriented
  • Experience in the Architectural/Engineering/Construction (A/E/C) industry is preferred

Compensation Range:

$36,981.00 - $49,308.00
