Job Description
Overview

The Construction Monitoring Representative is responsible for project management, construction oversight, and client management for the project team. Responsibilities include project management, project budget tracking, scheduling of key projects, and responsibility for the tasks associated with the projects. The Construction Monitoring Representative will work alongside existing office staff and senior management to successfully complete projects within established budgets and deadlines.


Responsibilities

  • Coordinate & Manage a variety of outside party projects.
  • Coordinate periodic field inspections and site visit reports.
  • Run project meeting and distribute minutes.
  • Quality Control/Quality Assurance.
  • Client management.
  • Review outside party work plan submissions for conformance with client construction requirements.
  • Must be able to maintain RWP for all subject railroads.
  • Other project duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering.
  • 0-4 years experience in the rail or heavy construction industry.
  • Knowledge of local city, county, and state regulations.
  • Proficiency in technical skills in pre-construction services including, but not limited to, plan review and site inspections.
  • Ability to interact well with coworkers, clients, and regulatory agencies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and judgment capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as, in a team environment.
  • Must be able to comply with 49 CFR Part 219 Drug and Alcohol Testing.
  • Valid driver's license.

Compensation: $67,570 - $76,515 DOQ.
