As an intern at Saint-Gobain Tape Solutions, you will be directly involved in product stewardship. You will have the opportunity to build a lasting professional network, attend lunch & learn training, and interact directly with our company executives. All of this allows you to gain the necessary skills and knowledge.

Here are some of the activities that you may be involved in while working as a Product Stewardship Intern:

  • Product & Raw Material Risk Assessments
    • Obtain and enter supplier Safety Data Sheets and regulatory compliance statements into data management system
    • Identify raw materials that contain REACH SVHCs and other substances of concern
    • Utilize information from suppliers, product structure and manufacturing process knowledge to establish product risk profiles
    • Coordinate product testing to confirm calculated product risk profile
  • Product Hazard Communication
    • Generate Regulatory Data Sheets (RDS) to be utilized for external communications
  • Sustainability Initiatives
    • Participate in Hoosick Falls "Green Solutions" team, whose mission is to implement innovative, eco-friendly solutions that minimize environmental impact through employee-run projects
    • Contribute to implementation of manufacturing waste recycling programs
    • Assist in development of product LCAs, as required

To make sure nothing is forgotten

Our ideal candidate would be someone studying Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering with a focus or minor in Environmental Studies or a Materials Science major, or related field.

Ideally, a rising senior, junior or graduate student is preferred.

The successful candidate will be required to work out of our Hoosick Falls, NY location.
