Fab Process Technician-Contract Role

This position requires the applicant to assist process engineers and hardware engineers with daily tasks including Equipment Monitoring, Basic Fabrication Center operations, and the processing of wafers on private tools. The position uses Microsoft applications to complete work in a timely manner and execute deliverables. The individual who is selected will work in a cleanroom environment as well as analyze data in an office setting. Following and writing procedures for other team member use is crucial for continuous learning and improvement and is a vital part of this role.

Responsibilities:

• Performs technical tests and experiments for process engineering within R&D.
• Performs metrology, including SEM imaging
• Performs set up of processing equipment.
• Monitors, audits, and provides guidance to line operators.
• Process test runs and prepares records, charts, and graphs of results for presentation to engineering to identify such things as:
  • Yield problems
  • Contamination information
  • Testing of new products/processes
• Provides technical assistance to process development and engineering personnel.
• Performs preventative and unscheduled maintenance on process equipment.
• Reports on in-line wafer flow information
• Attend meetings outside the applicants Business unit (BU) and gather information to supply the engineers and managers with
• Using site-wide integrated software(SiView) on a daily basis in order to monitor and complete processes
• Work in a diverse environment with strong multi-tasking skills
  
  Typical Education and Experience
  Associate's Degree or minimum of 2 years of related experience; completion of military technical training and field experience may substitute for an Associate's Degree; high school diploma or equivalent required. Must be legally authorized to work in US without sponsorship.

Individual pay is determined based on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, experience, skills, job-related knowledge, relevant education, certifications, and/or training. In addition to base salary, we offer (full time regular employees ) a comprehensive benefits package and for certain roles eligibility in our bonus plan and long-term incentives as applicable.
