The role reports to the Production Supervisor and is located in Albuquerque, New Mexico. As a Direct Flex 2nd Shift, you will be responsible for providing support to four major areas of the plant. It's a support role to help manage workload in certain areas, provide backup assistance and vacation management. Employees will be trained in all four areas for 90 days at a time and then rotate quarterly to different areas to keep skills enhanced to provide the most assistance. The three areas to provide reserve support is: * Assembly * Test * Paint * Molding As a Direct Flexible position in Assembly: Under the supervision of the shift supervisor, perform assembly operations on products as required, doing repetitive production line methods standardized to give repeated results. As a Direct Flexible position in Test: Perform test, setup, assembly, and disassembly of product at targeted stations for efficiency and effectiveness levels. As a Direct Flexible position in Paint: Prepares metal and plastic products used in conductive and insulation molding including grit blasting, applying adhesives, and running the DE flash machine. As a Direct Flexible position in Molding: Includes set-up, operation, troubleshooting and shut-down of mold injection machines within established guidelines. Primary work involves final product molding, component part molding and jacket molding.
