This job will be part of Communication and Solution Group, High Frequency Measurment Department, located in Santa Rosa, the heart of California's beautiful wine country.

High Frequency Measurement Department develops and revolutionizes all RF and Millimeter wave test and measurement instruments such as signal generators, spectrum analyzers and network analyzers. The product family covers the cores of RF test systems across the entire Wireless Ecosystem, including wireless devices, operators, internet infrastructure and aerospace and defense.

As part of this winning team, you will be responsible for the success of a line of RF/uW test instruments, from inception to launch, from current generation products to the road map into the future.

As an engineering manager, you will provide technical leadership for world class HW design teams consisting of RF, Digital and Analog designers. Meanwhile, as a program manager, you will be held accountable for providing cross functional leadership taking the product from concept to manufacturing.

Location: Santa Rosa, CA

Travel expectations: 5 % per month

• Working with strategic planning and marketing team to define product road map
• Working with Keysight Labs to establish long term technology road map
• Creating and maintaining development plan to support the road map
• Leading and managing engineering development efforts from product concept to launch
• Organizing, driving and tracking cross functional planning and deliverables
• Identify risks, establish and execute risk mitigation plans.
• Assuring on-time delivery and hitting projected financial goals
• Building, coaching and developing high performing engineering teams
• Establishing effective engineering process and tool chains

• 10+ years of professional experience with increasing scope and including people management and technology management.
• Extensive experience in either HW development management and/or Software/Firmware development management
• Solid RF, Digital and system experience and knowledge.
• Proven record managing complex technical programs and deliver impactful results
• Familiar with RF test equipment, ideally have RF/Microwave instrumentation development or management background

• Experience working with remote teams
• Solid written and verbal communication skills
• MSEE or Ph.D
